Bowen technique is unique in the field of bodywork; a gentle neuro-muscular and connective tissue modality that benefits the joints, muscles, nerves, fluids and energy of the body.
How Bowen Works
A deeply relaxing bodywork, Bowen Technique is a sequenced series of short, gentle, rolling moves at specific points over muscle and other soft tissue. Each series is followed by a brief quiet period that allows the body to integrate the signal. The signal rebounds through the autonomic nervous system to trigger the body to reset, similar to rebooting a computer.
What You Can Expect
To activate structural or functional healing even with longstanding issues, only a few sessions are needed. Most commonly, two or three sessions will address recent injury, while three to eight sessions will address structural or longstanding complaints. Thereafter, clients often choose to schedule routine sessions to maintain optimal function and avoid problems before they manifest.
What Clients Say
Bowen Technique clients report rapid improvement after accidents and injury and steady progression in cases of chronic pain. This subtle healing modality often sparks surprising and unexpected recovery, where nothing else has been successful.
